Only those who passed the test became the strongest

The turbulence in the sea serves as a test to the ships, those who pass the test become the strongest and it will be the most used and the most valuable.
Strong winds test the resistance of cars, the less impact the faster.
The carbon that undergoes more pressure becomes diamonds, the ones that escape the pressure, becomes graphite.
The hotter it is, the more the gold is purified.
That is exactly how God works; the more turbulence, tests of  resistance, undergoing of pressure and fire we go through, the more He can use us.
