No, his greatest mistake was that he couldn’t forgive himself.  Jesus was willing to forgive him as He had said we should forgive seven times seventy.
Unforgiveness it’s like a poison that consumes people from within and it’s worse when people cannot forgive themselves for whatever they have done or lost.

Learn from Jesus:
Pray for those who hate you.
Look at the good side of people.
Love one another.
