“To be of God means to give what you have, so that God can be seen in all that you do.”

What is the difference between being and mimicking?
Only one thing: attitude! When we want to look like something, we mimic the characteristics of our goal or of what we want to be. But when we truly ARE something, there is no room for pretending. Our attitudes reveal what we believe in.

One of the verbs most associated with Christianity is the verb “give”. Give what?
Give our faith, our love, our strength, our will, our attitude, our future … in short, the offering of our lives to God manifested in everything we do and every decision we make. It’s not a commandment, but a way of life.

However, this gift is reciprocal, that is, when we are of God, and we give what we have, He gives Himself to us in the same measure.
How is this gift from God seen?
He shows Himself in all His splendor and greatness in everything we do, because we no longer belong to ourselves but to Him!
