Mensaje para leer y reflexionar: Sello único
Obispo, cuando era una niña quería enviarle una carta a una amiga, sin embargo no tenía dinero para comprar el “sello”. Pensé rápidamente y arranqué el sello de una vieja carta y se lo pegué a la mía. Pensé que mi “problema” estaba resuelto. Corrí hasta el buzón, deposité mi carta y volví con la sensación de “misión cumplida”.
Algunos días después, para mi decepción, el cartero apareció en mi casa. Devolvió mi carta y me explicó que cada sello es “único” y tiene su fecha de validez.
Pensé en el motivo por el cual el Espíritu Santo es llamado Sello de Dios, e imaginé si fuésemos como una carta dirigida al cielo. Si el sello estuviese vencido, no llegaríamos al lugar deseado. – y enviar una carta sin sello tampoco se puede.
Cuando Jesús vuelva y le pida a los ángeles que recojan a los escogidos, los ángeles serán como carteros: solo llevarán las “cartas” selladas correctamente, las cartas identificadas por el sello de DIOS, el propio Espíritu Santo. O sea, no existe Salvación sin estar sellado.
Espíritu Santo: ¡la garantía de la Salvación! Quien Lo tiene hoy, canta “¡AH, QUÉ DÍA!” Quien Lo garantice hasta el regreso de nuestro Señor, cantará “¡AH, QUÉ ETERNIDAD!”

A Letter to God
Bishop, when I was a child, I wanted to send a letter to my friend. However, I didn’t have money to buy a "stamp". I thought about it and quickly tore a stamp from an old letter and glued it on my letter. I thought my "problem" was solved. I ran to the mailbox, placed my letter inside and came back "feeling" like my mission was accomplished. A couple of days later, to my disappointment, the mailman appeared at my house to return the letter. He explained that each stamp is "unique" and has its own expiration date.
I began to wonder about why the Holy Spirit is called the Seal of God, and imagined us being like letters mailed to the sky. However, if the stamp (seal) is expired, we will not reach our desired destination, and it is also impossible to mail a letter that does not have a stamp. When Jesus comes back and asks the angels to gather His chosen, the angels will be like mailmen, only taking the "letters" that are properly “sealed”. These letters will be identified because they’ll have the Seal of God, which is the Holy Spirit Himself. In other words, there can be no salvation without first being sealed.
The Holy Spirit is the guarantee of salvation! Those who have Him today may say ‘OH, WHAT A DAY!’, but those who have Him until the coming of our Lord will sing ‘OH WHAT AN ETERNITY!’.
